Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 13 July 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when Auditzo may provide a refund, replacement, service credit, report regeneration, or another reasonable resolution.

Auditzo is a product operated by Zestminds Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with Corporate Identification Number U62099PB2023PTC058281.

In plain English: If a genuine technical or delivery problem prevents you from receiving the service you purchased, we will first try to fix it. If we cannot reasonably deliver the purchased service, we may provide a refund, replacement, or credit. A successfully generated report is not normally refundable merely because you disagree with or do not like its findings.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to Auditzo purchases including:

  • Paid automated website reports
  • Manual Evidence Audits
  • Custom legal, enterprise, agency, or multi-domain engagements
  • Website Tracking Remediation
  • Post-Remediation Verification
  • Website Privacy Monitoring
  • Other paid technical services offered by Auditzo

A proposal, order form, Statement of Work, or other written agreement may contain service-specific cancellation or payment terms. Where such terms have been expressly agreed, they will apply to that engagement.

This Policy should be read together with Auditzo’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Refund Request Window

Refund or service-resolution requests relating to automated reports should normally be submitted within seven calendar days of:

  • The report being delivered or made available; or
  • The date on which the report was expected to be delivered.

Please contact us promptly after discovering a problem so that we can investigate while the relevant scan, payment, logs, and report information remain available.

The seven-day request window does not limit:

  • Mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law
  • Claims relating to duplicate payments discovered later
  • Unauthorized transactions handled through the relevant payment provider
  • Any different period expressly agreed in writing

Auditzo may consider a late request where exceptional circumstances reasonably prevented the customer from reporting the issue earlier.

3. Automated Reports

Automated reports are generated using automated scanning and analysis. They do not include human review unless the purchased service expressly states otherwise.

When a customer reports a genuine technical or delivery issue, Auditzo will normally first attempt an appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Rerunning the website scan
  • Regenerating the report
  • Correcting a materially corrupted report file
  • Restoring access to the report
  • Providing an appropriate manual fallback
  • Providing a replacement report
  • Providing a service credit

A refund may be approved where Auditzo cannot reasonably correct the issue or provide the material service purchased.

An automated report may contain technical indicators, classifications, observations, and limitations. The presence or absence of a particular finding does not by itself determine whether the report was successfully delivered.

4. Failed Scans and Delivery Issues

A refund, replacement, correction, or service credit may be provided where:

  • Payment was completed but no report was delivered
  • The scan failed and Auditzo could not successfully rerun or otherwise complete the purchased service
  • The delivered report was materially corrupted, unreadable, or technically inaccessible
  • A system error generated a report that did not materially correspond to the website or service ordered
  • Auditzo was unable to provide a material part of the purchased service
  • A refund is required under applicable law

Temporary delays, processing queues, manual-review fallback, or a reasonable request for additional information will not automatically qualify an order for a refund if Auditzo can still provide the purchased service within a reasonable period.

Auditzo may request screenshots, an order reference, the affected website URL, or other reasonable information needed to investigate the issue.

5. Normally Non-Refundable Situations

Subject to mandatory rights under applicable law, a refund will not normally be provided solely because:

  • You disagree with a technical observation or classification
  • You do not like the report’s findings or recommendations
  • The report does not identify the issue, tracker, cookie, or result that you expected
  • You expected legal advice, legal certification, or a guaranteed compliance result
  • You expected human review from a service clearly described as automated
  • Your website changed after the report or scan date
  • Website behaviour differed because of location, consent state, browser, account status, timing, or other technical conditions
  • You purchased a service that did not include the scope or depth you expected
  • You no longer require the report after successful delivery
  • You entered an incorrect URL and the report was successfully generated for the submitted URL
  • You failed to download the report before a clearly communicated expiry date
  • A third-party website blocked, restricted, changed, or limited observable behaviour

Auditzo may still provide a replacement, rerun, credit, or other fair resolution where the circumstances reasonably justify it.

Nothing in this section allows Auditzo to deny a remedy that must be provided under applicable law.

6. Manual Audits, Remediation and Custom Services

Manual Evidence Audits, remediation, verification, and custom engagements may involve reserved staff time, technical preparation, evidence collection, infrastructure usage, or third-party costs.

Cancellation before work begins

Where a customer cancels before work has started, Auditzo will normally refund the amount paid, subject to any non-recoverable external cost or different term clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase.

Cancellation after work begins

Where work has already begun, Auditzo may deduct:

  • The reasonable value of work already completed
  • Committed and non-recoverable third-party costs
  • Deliverables already prepared or provided

Any remaining prepaid amount will be refunded where appropriate.

Auditzo is unable to complete the engagement

If Auditzo cannot complete a material part of the agreed service, Auditzo may:

  • Offer a reasonable revised scope or delivery arrangement
  • Provide a credit or replacement service
  • Refund the amount attributable to the undelivered work

A proposal, Statement of Work, or written order may specify different deposit, milestone, cancellation, rescheduling, or refund arrangements.

7. Website Privacy Monitoring Subscriptions

Where Website Privacy Monitoring is sold as a recurring subscription, you may cancel future renewal using the cancellation method provided by Auditzo or by contacting [email protected].

Cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. No further renewal charge should be made after the cancellation becomes effective.

A billing period that has already started will not normally be refunded solely because you choose to stop using the service before the period ends.

A full or proportionate refund may be considered where:

  • A duplicate renewal charge occurred
  • A material technical failure prevented Auditzo from providing the monitoring service
  • Auditzo discontinued the service during a prepaid billing period without providing a reasonable replacement
  • A refund is required by applicable law

Monitoring frequency and coverage depend on the purchased plan and should not be understood as continuous unless expressly described as continuous.

8. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe that you were charged more than once for the same order, please contact us with the relevant order and payment information.

Once verified, an unintended duplicate charge will normally be refunded to the original payment method.

Where an incorrect amount was charged due to an Auditzo system or billing error, Auditzo will correct the charge or refund the excess amount.

9. How to Request Support or a Refund

Send your request to [email protected].

Please include:

  • Your name and email address used for the purchase
  • Your order, payment, audit, or report reference
  • The website URL associated with the order
  • A clear explanation of the problem
  • Relevant screenshots or error messages, where available
  • The resolution you are requesting

Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card information, government identifiers, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Auditzo may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the order, reproduce the issue, prevent fraud, or determine an appropriate resolution.

10. Review and Refund Processing

Auditzo will review refund and service-resolution requests in good faith and may contact you for additional information.

Where a refund is approved, Auditzo will normally initiate it using the original payment method.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on the payment provider, bank, card network, currency, and location. Those processing times are outside Auditzo’s direct control.

Unless required otherwise by applicable law, Auditzo is not responsible for:

  • Currency-conversion differences
  • Bank charges
  • Payment-provider charges
  • International transaction charges
  • Delays caused by the customer’s bank or payment provider

Auditzo may issue a service credit instead of a cash refund only where you agree to that resolution or where the original payment method cannot reasonably accept the refund.

11. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback does not automatically establish that a refund is due. Auditzo may provide the relevant payment provider with order, delivery, access, communication, and service records needed to respond to the dispute.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights that are available through your bank, payment provider, consumer authority, or applicable law.

12. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Depending on your location, you may have additional cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, refund, or complaint rights.

Where permitted by applicable law, automated reports and other digital services may begin immediately after purchase or at your express request. Any legally required acknowledgment regarding immediate digital delivery should be presented during the purchase process.

Where this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will apply.

13. Changes to this Policy

Auditzo may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, payment arrangements, customer protections, operational practices, or legal requirements.

The updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this page.

An updated Policy will not be used to remove a mandatory right or materially reduce a refund entitlement that had already arisen under an existing completed purchase.
